Thanks to Dr. Seuss, Vera isn’t scared of thunderstorms. I couldn’t find an image of her favorite page, but this one is related, so I decided to post it instead. Anyway, the page she loves says BOOM BOOM BOOM! Mr. Brown is a wonder! BOOM BOOM BOOM! Mr. Brown makes thunder! He also makes lightning SPLATT SPLATT SPLATT, and it’s very very hard to make a noise like that! Anyway, now every time we hear thunder, she thinks Mr. Brown is saying hello, and she says hello back. Tonight she said, “I’m eating corn Mr. Brown!”
